The Gift Box Waihī

The Waihī Community Forum has just donated a brand new fridge/freezer to Tina Wright at The Gift Box (The Gift Box-Waihī Community Food pantry)!

This is the second time the Waihī Community Forum has supported The Gift Box in recent months: 'The Forum really appreciates the work Tina does for so many in need in our community' says Forum Chairperson Bindy Burke. 'when Tina put out a plea for help with a fridge to store donated items in her garage we were only too happy to help.' Bindy approached Pravin at 100%, who gave her a good deal on the new fridge, knowing it was going to a worthwhile cause.

Tina's Gift Box on Mackay Street currently has as many as 60 visitors a day looking for some extra support with their groceries. The Waihī Community Forum thanks Tina for all she is doing in the community. We know this work takes up much of her day, and we're happy to support her in all she is doing.
